URL Love It can tell you about changes in a few ways, and you’re in control of how much you hear. You’ll find these controls in your notification settings.

Where alerts can go

  • Email - change alerts land in your inbox.
  • Slack - alerts post into a channel you choose, once you connect Slack (see Connecting Slack).
  • In-app - the Changes Feed and the notification bell always keep the full record, whether or not you turn on email or Slack.

Immediate alerts vs. the daily digest

You can be notified two ways, and they’re not mutually exclusive:
  • Immediate alerts - sent as soon as a significant change is detected. Best for pages where timing matters.
  • Daily digest - one email that rounds up everything from the last day, so you get a single summary instead of a stream of individual alerts.

Turning down the volume

If you’re getting more than you want, you have a few levers:
  • Raise the severity threshold so you’re only alerted about higher-impact changes.
  • Switch from immediate alerts to the daily digest.
  • Turn off a channel you don’t use (for example, email if you live in Slack).

Unsubscribing from emails

Every alert email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can turn email alerts off any time in your notification settings. Unsubscribing stops the emails - your changes are still tracked and always available in the app, so you won’t lose any history.
Account and billing emails (like a receipt or an important notice about your subscription) are separate from change alerts and aren’t affected by unsubscribing from alerts.
