How often pages are captured
You choose a capture frequency per page. The options depend on your plan:- Weekly - a fresh snapshot about once a week. Good for pages that rarely change.
- Daily - a snapshot every day. The most common choice for pages you actively care about.
- Sub-daily - multiple snapshots per day, for pages that move fast (available on higher-tier plans).
Desktop and mobile
Pages can be captured at a desktop width, a mobile width, or both. Since many sites look and behave differently on a phone, monitoring both is useful when the mobile experience matters to you - for example an ad landing page that mostly gets mobile traffic. When a capture is only partial
Some websites actively resist being captured - bot protection like Cloudflare can block the underlying text while still letting the image through. When that happens, URL Love It keeps the snapshot rather than throwing it away: you still get the picture, and it flags that some text couldn’t be read this time. The image is the floor. The whole point of a snapshot is to show you what the page looked like. So if the image itself is good, the snapshot counts - even if some text couldn’t be extracted. Only when the image itself fails is the snapshot marked as failed. On partial captures, visual change detection still runs, so you’ll still hear about it if the page looks different.
Common questions
How far back does my history go?
How far back does my history go?
From the moment you started monitoring a page. URL Love It isn’t an archive of the whole web - it captures your pages going forward from when you add them.
Can I capture a page right now, on demand?
Can I capture a page right now, on demand?
Yes - you can trigger a fresh snapshot for a page at any time instead of waiting for the next scheduled one.
Why did a snapshot fail?
Why did a snapshot fail?
A snapshot is marked failed only when the image itself couldn’t be captured - usually a hard block, a page that wouldn’t load, or a site that timed out. See Fixing capture problems.
